A very rare coffee can and saucer in Applique Avignon that will date to 1931. The can has a small firing split off the rim which occured in manufacture and is glazed, the saucer is an applique saucer but slightly later than the can. Both are vibrantly coloured ands the can shows a strong full version of the pattern. The can measures 2.25" in height and the saucer is 4" wide. Both are fully signed to the base.
