A shape that i have never seen before in 28 years of dealing in this pottery! Probably an old Newport pottery shape that was in the warehouse and used by the bizarre shop and sold. Unique to date. Decorated in a typical Original bizarre design of simple overlapping triangular shapes with the correct lid for the base as the banding corresponds perfectly. It is a good size for what probably is a preserve jar measuring 5" in height and is 5.25" across. I can GUARANTEE no damage and no restoration but there is a bit of light oxidising to the blue and a couple of flakes to the green along the top rim of the base. Printed marks to base and will date to 1928.
