A rarely found pair of 12" tall Elton shaped candlesticks. Singles turn up occasionally but hardly ever pairs and these are the only tall size ones i've seen in the Red colourway of this pattern. Beautifully decorated and obviously an original pair as they are an exact match in every way. The colours are very strong and the image is perfect for the shape. One candlestick is 100% perfect and one has a restoration to one corner of the base, this is done properly and is not visible to the eye. A striking early pair that measure 12" in height, both carry Fantasque marks to the base and will date to late 1930 early 1931.
