A huge, rare and very impressive Pomegranate on Celadon ground vase that will date to 1912. This massive urn shape vase measures 15" in height, is 10" wide and a huge 30" around it's fattest part. These are rare and this is an exceptional example that is heavily and perfectly decorated with masses of fruit, leaves and berries over it's entire body. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration although underneath the base and inside where the foot joins the body there is a slight underglaze firing split, i haven't seen one of these vases that hasn't got one! It is fully signed to the base.
