A piece that truly is exceptionally rare! This hand thrown vase was made specifically for the Royal academy exhibition in 1935 as you can see from the detailed handwritten script to the base which reads in William Moorcrofts hand - 1935 Made for the royal academy exhibition British Art which was the title of the exhibition at Burlington house.  This vase is a very tall 19" in height and is 8" wide across the base and will be a one off. Beautifully fired with perfect colouring i can GUARANTEE the vase to be free from any form of damage or restoration. This vase actually is a genuine piece of Moorcroft history and really should be in a museum!
