One of the rarest patterns of all, Luxor along with sunray were the two first landscape designs although both are heavily abstract too, the rarer colourway of luxor is this black version where less than a dozen pieces have ever turned up. This 3.5" high crown jug has the whole of the design repeating and superbly painted around the body, it has no damage or restoration but does have some wear to parts, i would not normally buy a worn piece but this is so rare that it dosn't matter what the condition is.. you may never get the chance to own a piece again!!!
