A rare and superbly decorated large plate in Cubist, one of the very best abstract designs shown perfectly on this octagonal plate. The paintwork is thick and bold and shows a complete version of the pattern. There has been some very light touching up to the blue which was very slightly oxidised, this is not at all noticeable. Otherwise it is free from damage or restoration. A superb example that measures 9.25" in diameter and will date to 1929.
