Clarice Cliff - A RARE BROTH PEANUT SET C.1929

An extremely rare 'Peanut' set in Broth dating to 1929. I have never seen this before, a conical bowl and six miniature dishes or plates as a set. I have had and sold miniature plates in singles but have never seen a set quite like this. Clearly has always been together as a set as it is painted by the same hand at the same time throughout. A bold image on each piece with the bowl itself being a beautiful stand alone piece. One dish has a chip to the reverse otherwise all pieces are free from damage or restoration and all are fully signed. The dishes are 7cm wide and the bowl is 15cm by 7.5cm deep.
