This is the only complete teaset I have ever seen in Applique idyll and the only Stamford teaware I have seen at all. A rare and superbly decorated Tea for two or early morning set that will date to 1931. Various images which is typical for this design but with some more unusual aspects, some of the flowers I have only seen on the odd applique piece and if you look at the cup the cup on the left in front image you will see a bird on the cup, I have never seen this on anything else. A great set that I can GUARANTEE to be free from damage or restoration. All pieces fully signed to the base.
