An extremely are 9" plate decorated in the Black colourway of Luxor. Known from maybe a dozen examples this pattern hardly ever turns up. A superb version of the pattern in thick, bold colours. Condition - At 2 o'clock there is a 1" UNDERGLAZE hairline that occured in firing and is actually full of glaze so does not catch and cannot travel as it is sealed. A rare plate and a pattern you will struggle to find. Printed marks to the reverse and will date 1930.
