An extremely rare miniature plate or childs teaplate as they have been known as in House & Bridge. Slightly larger than the really small plates at 4.8" diameter and by far the rarest of all plate sizes. I have seen a set in Honolulu, this plate which was one of 4 that turned up in the early 90's and a Red Trees and house one on eBay once! Fabulous version of the pattern completely filling the plate plus GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration. Printed marks to the back and a really early date code for feb 1931. This would tie in the the Trees and house example but not the Honolulu ones which would date to 1933. You wonder why they don't turn up and maybe were special order pieces.
