Clarice Cliff HUGE TEA FOR SIX SIZE BONJOUR TRIO IN ORANGE TREES AND HOUSE.

£1850.00

An extremely rare set. Orange Trees and House is a pattern that was introduced early 1930 and was probably the first true landscape design. It was made through til the end of 1931 and possibly into very early 1932 at the latest. This Bonjour shape was not introduced until 1933 and the largest size which this is was introduced in 1934. The backstamp would say 1935 though which tells us that this set was a special order made long after the pattern had ceased production. All pieces are superbly decorated and GUARANTEED to be free from any form of damage or restoration. The teapot measures 7" in height and is 8.5" wide, the milk jug 4" by 6" and the sugar 3.75" by 4.5". All pieces with identical marks to base.
