A rare and superbly decorated 'Lightning'  conical tea cup and saucer dating to early 1930, this is a really rare abstract and this is a great example showing the whole of the design around the body. GUARANTEED free from damage or restoration although it does have a 1.5cm firing flaw under the glaze where the handle joins the body . The saucer measures 5.75" wide with the cup being 2.5" tall, this is the original saucer to the cup and both pieces carry identical backstamps.
