A holy grail piece of Clarice! This design - London - has turned up about 5 times to my knowledge in the last 30 odd years. An amazing abstract design which will date to 1930 and will have been produced around the same time as Cafe and Sunspots and is of a similar European Art Deco design to those, except that it was probably quite labour intensive to decorate and i wonder if it didn't really make it into full production, either that or it didn't sell well! A fantastic piece with a tripled image around the body in bold colours. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration apart from a small impact under the lid of the lid rim which i have pictured. A very special piece of Clarice and something you may not get the chance to buy again. Printed marks to base and measures just under 9" in height.
