A rare and fantastically decorated Hereford shape Biscuit Barrel in the sought after May Avenue design. This is a wonderful example of the pattern that could not be better painted on the shape. Full version of the pattern in strong colours with it's correct original lid and wicker handle. CONDITION - This has had a fair amount of restoration to both the lid and to the base, it has been done superbly and is not noticeable to the eye. It's a rare piece, the only one in this shape i know of and would be £3000 perfect. It measures 6.5" in height is 7" wide including the handles and is signed to the base.
