A fantastic 4 person coffee set in Applique Lucerne dating to 1930. Easily some of the best painted pieces of this pattern ever to turn up, every piece is very carefully and perfectly decorated. The set was an export piece and sold to Australia back in 1930. The export sets always seem to be that bit better painted. This set appeared in Feb 1999 at christies in the Brodie Hogg sale and made over £10,000! A stunning set that has 2 issues, a 1" double hairline to the milk jug and a small feint hairline to one can, otherwise it is in excellent condition with no further issues. I would really like to keep this part set together as it has history in this market and would be sad to see it split up then dissipate. Hopefully i won't have to. All pieces carry identical marks to the bases.
