A really bold Tennis lotus jug and probably the strongest one i've seen to date. The colours are much more intense than usual and it really stands out. The pattern is painted perfectly to the entire body in thick, heavy brushstrokes. There is a firing split to the rim that is about 4" long that clearly occured in manufacture as the paint is fired into the crack as well glaze therefore is perfectly stable. This does not detract from what is a superb lotus jug in a sought after abstract design. Printed marks to base and measures 30cm in height.
