A rare and unusual doulton faience charger by J H Mclennan with the centre decorated with a boy riding a swan with a kingfisher in the foreground. The border is florally decorated in panels and the colours are crisp and very clean. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration it measures 13.5" in diameter. It is fully marked and signed to the reverse and also signed to the bottom right of the central image.
