moorcroft pottery Claremont vase for liberty & co C1912

£2250.00

An exceptional Claremont vase made for liberty and co around 1912, masses of various toadstools perfectly decorated around the entire body of this rare shaped vase, the colouring is exactly as meant to be and is as well fired an example of this type as you will find. GUARANTEED no damage or restoration although the vase does have a couple of blemishes on the footrim due to production process, there are a couple of flaws where the thick glaze ran over the footrim when made and had to be ground off in the factory, this is typical of the thick glaze used in this particular pattern as several layers were used to get the desired effect. This does not detract in anyway and experienced collectors and dealers will fully understand.  This large vase measures 7" in height and is 22" in circumference at it's fattest point. Fully signed to base with liberty printed marks too. Please be assured that all items listed on this site are exactly as described and benefit from nearly 25 years experience in selling this pottery.
