An extremely rare stamford shaped box in a fabulous version of summerhouse, this piece will date to 1931 and shows a full and very bold version of the design, it is complimented with very strong red and black banding and really is as nice a piece of this pattern as you will ever find. These boxes are very rare especially in good patterns, this is one of 2 that have ever turned up in this pattern and one of only about 12 that have ever turned up. GUARANTEED free from damage or restoration and carries printed bizarre marks to the base. It is 7" wide including handles and is 5" tall and deep.
