Sunray conical teaset

A very rare and superbly painted complete and original tea for two set in 'sunray' this is an early version of the design and an early set with the teaplate being octagonal as opposed the circular ones. all pieces correspond, all have exactly the same banding and backstamps. there are a couple ares where the blue has been refreshed and the teapout spout has a tiny hairline. This is a rare and desirable pattern and one of the few teasets known to exist. will date to late 1929.
