An exceptionally rare vase and probably one of Williams experimental pieces. A flambe landscape that is also lustered, something i've not had before, would have been just about the most difficult thing to fire. The trees are a deep purple colour with a yellow almost lime coloured ground. Something for the collector of true rarities! GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration the vase measures 9.5" in height and is fully marked to the base. It also carries a label from a Christies Moorcroft auction dating to December 2004.
