An unusual Aurelian design ewer that will date to 1898-1900. A rare shape and works very nicely with the design. The decoration is clear and the gilding is perfect. I have not had many of this shape ewer over the years but i have for the first time noticed the top of the handle is in the form of a bird, the gilding picks it out perfectly. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration it carries Macintyre and registration marks to the base. Measures 12" in height.
