A MONUMENTAL MARTIN BROTHERS VASE C.1898

Image Zoom (8)

A truly wonderful Robert Wallace martin for Martin Brothers vase and probably the best vase i have seen to date. The vase is massive and decorated with fighting dragons which are drawn in incredible detail and all shown on this amazing blue ground. The vase measures 18" in height, is 11" wide and 36" around it fattest part. It really is a stand alone museum quality vase. CONDITION - The vase is restored to the neck and shoulder, there was a piece out of the shoulder and crack across the neck, the vase has been restored to an incredibly high standard and is now not visible to the eye. A stunning vase that even restored is worthy of any collection and perfect i suspect would make in excess of 30k in auction. It is fully signed to the base and dated January 1898
