A very rare subject for Burmantofts and a fabulous shape too. This massive vase is decorated in persian colours and shows beasts attacking each other in 3 parts around the base amongst typical persian design and colour. It measures 64cm in height, is 32cm wide and 100cm around it fattest part. Condition - It was cracked just above the knop on the neck and is now totally invisibly restored. It does not detract from what is a very rare vase. The base is not marked, the vase though is 100% a Burmantofts piece and may well have been an experimental piece.
