A rare example of Butterfly on a 7" tall athens jug, this piece dates to 1930 and shows this seldom seen pattern off perfectly. A few spots of minor wear (please see close up images) and it does have a small chip invisibly restored to the footrim, however it will be a long time before you see another one!
