Designed by Charles Francis Annesley Voysey for the Jesson Birkett company of Birmingham in 1903. This double inkwell was made in 1904. It is in excellent original condition and retains its glass liners to the wells. Measuring 9.75" by 6" by 3.75" in height it carries impressed Jesson Birkett marks to the base , is stamped 672 for the model number and has a partial handwritten inscription that mentions Xmas 1904 to the underside of the base.
