A really rare version of Avignon with bridge painted a different colour to a standard piece. I'm pretty sure i once saw a plate with the same colourway but that was a very long time ago. It has a John butler handwritten mark to the base so therefore is an early 1930 example. CONDITION - There has been an invisible restoration to a base hairline and some touching in to the blue otherwise it is in excellent condition. It measures 25cm in height and has printed marks to the base.
