Clarice Cliff APPLIQUE BLUE LUCERNE BOWL C.1930

Clarice Cliff APPLIQUE BLUE LUCERNE BOWL C.1930

A very early version of Lucerne on a 9.5" diameter bowl. The banding of orange and yellow is extremely rare and the blue is an earlier version too. The pattern is applied beautifully to the shape and is signed underneath Applique in the hand of John Butler who was the artistic director in 1930 and was responsible for the applique range. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration it is fully marked to the base and measures 9.25" by 4".
