A really rare and stunning 6" tall conical jug in the Orange coloujrway of Lucerne, a rare and sought after applique design. The decoration quality is superb and shows a full version of the pattern decorated around the body within bold black and red banding. There has been an invisible restoration to the body inside the handle where there was a firing flaw, no restoration at all to the outside. It is fully signed to the base with a handwritten applique mark too.
