A very early first period of Applique 'Blue Lugano' 358 shaped vase that will date to early 1930. A fantastic example in strong bold colours that shows a full version of the pattern. These examples with yellow bridges and honeyglaze banding were the first pieces of applique produced and were decorated and signed by John butler who was the artistic director at the time. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration it measures 8" in height and is fully signed to the base.
