A rare and fantastically painted Cafe cookie jar or biscuit barrel that dates to 1930. Only the second piece i can think of in the orange colourway that i have seen in 33 years. This shape shows the pattern beautifully and is as well painted a piece of this pattern as you will ever find. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration it measures just over 6" in height, is 5.5" wide and is fully signed to the base. The wicker handle is broken on one side as the pictures show.
