Only the second of this shape i've ever seen, the 188 shape is an early shape that i've had twice in a 6" size and now twice in this larger 8.5" size. a fantastic example of diamonds which is a sought after abstract that rarely turns up on vases. 4 panels of repeating pattern with bold colours and images. It has had a paintflake touched in to the orange underneath the rim otherwise is GUARANTEED frr from damage or restoration. Printed marks to the base, dates to late 1929 or early 1930 and measures 8.5" in height.
