Clarice Cliff FIRST PERIOD CROCUS JAMPOT C.1929

Clarice Cliff FIRST PERIOD CROCUS JAMPOT C.1929

A fabulous early Crocus drum jampot that will date to 1929. These first examples with a green handwritten mark are much heavier decorated with big thick crocus as opposed to later more thinly decorated standard pieces. The first jampots made always had this slightly impractical small knop to the top that were replaced in 1930 by the standard one you see mostly. A super example that measures just under 3.5" in height, is GUARANTEED free from damage or restoration and is fully signed and marked to the base.
