An extremely rare vase or tissue box ! The shape generally has 1933 and 1934 patterns on but this is a 1932 design that just about rolled over into 1933 so this is something you will most likely never see again. What is also interesting is that it is the only piece of this pattern i have ever seen with a proper double image, usually vases or lotus jugs that have a double image actually only have one set of cottages but 2 big trees. This one has a superb full image showing trees and cottages both front and back! one of the best painted pieces i have seen in this pattern. The vase has no damage and has no restoration GUARANTEED but does have some craze lines under the glaze, these are slightly darker than the honeyglaze so can be seen certainly inside and will not clean out because they are actually sealed under the glaze. It measures 8.5" by 4.75" by 4.5" and is fully signed to the base.
I constantly need new stock and I usually pay far more than you would achieve at auction for top end pieces as I have an extensive client list to sell to.
