An amazing radially decorated large plate in Umbrellas, one of the best painted pieces of this pattern i have ever seen. The plate itself is larger than standard plates measuring 26cm, it is a pre cursor to the 26cm wall plaques as it is the same size but not drilled. It has an impressed date code for 1925! so therefore is a blank that was used around 1929 and possibly an experimental piece as i have not seen anything quite like it before. GUARANTEED completely free from damage or restoration this really is as striking and bold as clarice gets! Carries fantasque and wilkinson marks to the reverse.
