A rare plate designed by Laura Knight for the Harrods 'Art in Industry ' exhibition of 1934. These plates and various tablewares were made for the ''Modern art for the table'' section where current artists of the time were invited to design for the exhibition. This 9" plate shows a circus Tightrope walker image and is decorated beautifully. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration, measures 9" in diameter and is fully signed to the reverse.
