An amazingly decorated 9" meiping vase in Lightning, one of the best painted pieces of this pattern to ever turn up. The pattern is crammed onto the vase virtually top to bottom with repeating images around the body in between banding that normally turns up on Sunspots, this is a really wacky vase! I can GUARANTEE no restoration but there are a couple of slight issues - There are some burst air bubbles to the body in a few places which you can see clearly on the images if you blow them up plus on the base there is an UNDERGLAZE star crack, it does not catch as is under the glaze, it also cannot spread for this reason. Both of these slight faults occured during manufacture. The vase measures 9" in height, dates to 1930 and is fully signed to the base.
