A rare and stunning 45.5cm wall hanging charger decorated in the celebrated May Avenue design dating to 1933. This is a fresh to the market example having been with the same family since 1933. In 2003 a world auction price record was set for Clarice Cliff when an almost identical example sold for £39,950 with this one being equally as well painted and dare i say actually slightly cleaner. A fantastic piece of Clarice and in many peoples eyes would be the holy grail. GUARANTEED to be free from damage or restoration and something that would be the centrepiece to any collection! Printed marks to the reverse. The second image shows it next to a 5.5" conical sugar shaker, also please note that any lighter or white areas are just reflection from flash photography, the paintwork is flawless, copy and paste the below link for the Christies charger.
