A rare and superbly decorated Stamford or early morning set in May avenue. This will date to 1933 and is one of only 3 complete stamford sets i know of. A super version of the pattern with a full version of the pattern decorated around the shape. There has been a hairline restored to one saucer and also a chip to the corner of the lid. Aside from this which does not detract the set is magnificent and could be a long time before another shows up. All pieces carry identical marks to the base.
