A really fabulous Melon vase dating to late 1929 early 1930. This is the largest size of the Archaic range (shape number 374) and painted in a superb version of the pattern, it also has the rarest and nicest banding combination for this pattern Lilac and Yellow. An impressive vase that is in superb condition bar a very small invisible repair to a 3mm chip on the bottom footrim. The vase measures 12" in height and is 9.25" wide across the top. One of the nicest Melon vases i've seen in a very long time. Fantasque marks to base.
