This is a fantastic example of Melon on a vase. A vase from the Archaic range of shapes decorated in a bold repeating version of the pattern with the rarest banding combination for this pattern. Lilac with yellow has only ever turned up a handful of times and works and displays superbly. The vase is an impressive 12" in height and is 9.25" wide across the top. It has had a small chip invisibly restored to the base rim and is fully signed to the base.
