A fantastic and incredibly rare twin handled lotus jug, in 26 years i have only ever seen one other in this design and that was a single handled one that was damaged! This stunning abstract pattern is known from less than 20 examples worldwide. Superbly decorated showing a complete and repeating version of the pattern around the entire body, thick heavy brushstrokes and a bold image. GUARANTEED to be completely free from damage or restoration it measures 11.5" or 29cm in height and is 10" wide across the handles. A rare and superb example of Clarice Cliff abstract pottery!
