These are easily the best pair of Abstract vases i have seen in 29 years, they are simply incredible. A huge pair of identical Meiping shape vases decorated in a really bold version of Football with fabulous banding. These are exhibition quality or museum quality vases. Full version of the pattern decorated in large scale around the body of each, the paintwork and colours are as new. CONDITION - One vase has a fingernail size chip invisibly restored to the top rim and the second vase has a 4" hairline also invisibly restored. It does not detract from what are a stunning and important pair of vases. They measure 14" in height and are pictured with a 3" fern pot to show the scale of them. Both are fully signed to the base.
