Clarice Cliff RED CARPET BOWL C.1930

Image Zoom (10)

A rare and superbly decorated bowl in the highly sought after Carpet design dating to 1930. Taken from a design by Ivan Da Silva Bruhns who designed carpets and textiles in the Art Deco period this has always been one of the most sought after designs. A really good example with a repeating pattern around the body in bold colours. As is often the case with bowls there is some wear to the inside but the outside is clean and beautifully painted and i can GUARANTEE to be free from damage or restoration. Measures 8.5" in diameter and is 3.75" tall.
