An extremely rare isis vase in the Red colourway of carpet, this will date to 1930 and is one of only 3 isis or lotus jugs i have ever seen. Capet when it does turn up is often on flatware or teaware, seldom does it appear on a vase. A full repeating version of the pattern is decorated around the body with it's only blemish being a tight 1.5" hairline off the top rim. A fantastic vase and something you may not see again in a very long time. Measures 25cm in height and is fully signed to the base.
