A rare (only one i have ever seen in this pattern) 422 shape Stamford Box and Cover in Moonlight dating to 1933. A wonderful piece of this pattern showing every aspect of it in a doubled image decorated around all 4 sides of the box. One of the rarest of the great deco shapes. The colours and image are strong and bold, the lid is the correct original and shows the right banding for this pattern. There has a been a very small and invisible restoration to the inside of the rim of the lid otherwise i can GUARANTEE to be free from any damage or further restoration. A superb piece of Clarice that measures 7" across including handles, 5.5" tall and the box itself is 5.25" square. It is fully signed to the base.
