A rare and superbly decorated athens shaped jug in the much sought after abstract design - Sliced circle. This will date to late 1929 or early 1930 and is as well painted an example as you will ever find. Thick strong paintwork and a double image painted top to bottom on the jug with fresh bright colours. There has been a small chip invisibly restored to the footrim otherwise is in excellent allover condition. Measures 6.5" in height and is fully signed to the base.
