A superb lotus jug decorated in a repeating version of summerhouse around the body and within bold Black and Red banding to the top and bottom. The image is really nice and the paintwork very clean. There has been a hairline restored where the handle joins the body at the top rim. These lines often occur during the firing process. It measures 30cm (12") in height and carries printed marks to the base.
