A rare tea for two or early morning set in Sunray, this along with luxor being the first landscape designs produced, it is of course an abstract design as well so ticks the boxes for all collectors! I have had a few very early sets over the years with octagonal sideplates, 2 other sunray ones and this is something that was done in the early days. Superbly decorated showing the whole of the design to every piece, the set has no damage or restoration but does have a bit of oxidising to the blue in some areas, the milk jug also leans slightly and is just something that occured in manufacture. A stunning set!
